We are looking for a Punch Operator for the Cowpens, SC area

Work Scedule: 2nd shift. Monday through Thursday 3:30PM to 2:00AM

Pay Range: $12-16 DOE

Blueprint reading skills a MUST

Person must be highly motivated 2nd. shift CNC Turret Punch Operator, with a desire to work in a fast paced, quality centered environment.
This role is vital to ensuring the resulting end product is made to exact specifications as designated by the customer, meets all quality tests and is delivered on time. As such, a unique blend of the following characteristics is a must:

Use effective communication and organizational skills
Have innate attention to detail
An eye for good quality finish and desire to do quality work

Job Responsibilities :

Responsible for operating and setting up CNC Turret Punch Press
Observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining; and makes adjustments as required
Study blueprints and other specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece and setup requirements
Verify conformance of finished work piece to specifications
Communicate with the Leader, co-workers and other operators informing them of trends, quality updates and potential problems
Troubleshoot equipment and product problems, enlist the assistance of the leader or maintenance as needed
Continually maintain a clean working environment
Meet or exceed productivity standards
Adhere to all safety standards
