Stamping Department - Job Setter

2nd shift- 2:45 PM to 11 PM

Essential Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned and changed as needed):
• To safely set up jobs / equipment in order to repeatedly produce good quality parts in an efficient manner.

Primary Objectives
• Safely perform the basic operations in the weld area
• Safely handle equipment and materials necessary in the assembling of quality parts.
• Visually inspect parts for defects in stamping and welding operations
• Operate according to the policy and procedures of SSP and QS9000
• Inspect / change electrodes and reset steppers
• Inspect / change hoses
• Adjust proximity switches
• Perform basic TPM to include inspection of Shunt, gun arms, shanks, tooling.
• Ensure proper parts, labels, and all documentation exist for part being produced.

Requirements
• Minimum of 90 days on the job.
• TABE: Math 8.0 Reading 8.0
• Must possess physical ability to perform job
• Dependable, reliable, conscientious
• Ability to follow directions
• Ability to work as a member of a team
