Travellift Helper – Starting at $19.04/hr (+$1.00 shift diff for 2nd/3rd)

Position Summary

Assist the overhead crane operator with removing concrete products from beds and placing them in the finishing area. Support the Travelift Operator by transporting finished concrete products to the storage yard. Provide general assistance to bed crew personnel as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow all safety and quality standards to ensure a safe work environment and high-quality production
• Assist crane operations:
  • Wait for overhead crane positioning before proceeding
  • Hook cables to lifting loops or Swift Lifts
  • Place wooden blocks prior to stacking
  • Guide crane operator during stacking as needed
• Assist Travelift operations:
  • Wait for proper positioning of the Travelift
  • Hook cables and secure loads
  • Place wooden blocks before stacking
  • Direct operator during material movement
• Support production when not assisting equipment operators:
  • Dry finishing
  • Rework
  • General bed crew duties

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 1–3 months of related experience or training is a plus
• Ability to work in a team and follow directions in a fast-paced environment
