Shipping and Receiving Clerk
$15 a hour
8am-4pm
Shipping/receiving experience is a must.


PRINCIPAL DUTIES Major responsibilities are listed but not necessarily limited to the following duties:
• Perform and document all tasks required to receive, store, pull, issue, transport and ship products
• Utilize and maintain computerized shipping and purchasing system.
• Ability to work independently and follow direction.
• Complete daily paperwork.
• Strong organizational and housekeeping skills.

PRIMARY DUTIES SHIPPING:
• Package and secure products for shipment. Tag, label, mark and check product being shipped. Support shipment transaction integrity.
• Communicate effectively with order entry personnel.
• Utilize UPS Worldship & Fed Ex on computer to process and document activity.
• Prepare and document paperwork; BOL’s, Waybills, Export documents.
• Forklift and overhead crane operation required.

RECEIVING:
• Inspect all inbound packages for damage.
• Audit each package to insure purchase order, quantity and description match.
• Receive product into inventory, identify end user and move product to end user location.
• Transport material between department areas and company facility.
• Perform clerical functions as needed.
• Perform cycle counts.



EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years shipping & receiving experience including export shipping.
• General computer knowledge. UPS Worldship & SAP experience preferred.
• Experience with forklifts and overhead cranes.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
