Painter

TRS is Hiring Painters $15.00 in the Spartanburg SC

6am-6:00pm Monday – Thursday and Fridays depending on workload so they need to be flexible (Fridays are sometimes ½ days or off).

I. Clean parts belonging to customer supplied rolls. When needed, stripping of old paint from parts.
II. Most parts will have identification tags and other symbols. These should be covered up and not painted.
III. Prime and paint parts based on condition.
IV. Non-painted surfaces should be cleaned as well and when needed , light coating of grease applied.
V. Parts that have moveable components need to be checked for ability to move. If needed, remove parts and clean.
VI. Clean parts and dirty parts should be kept separate from each other to prevent clean parts from getting dirty again.
VII. Painter will be expected to keep the paint booth clean and organized.
a. Paint should be requested when getting low, not when completely out and needing it to complete a job.
VIII. Painter will be expected to work safely using cranes and other lifting devices. Many of the components that come in are heavy and should not be picked up by hand.
IX. When there are no parts that require painting, cross training with roll repair mechanics will be done.
X. Addition or subtraction of responsibilities can be changed at any point depending on workload and / or any other future changes to our internal processes.
