Hours: 1st shift – 6:00am-2:30pm Monday - Friday

For our Steel Manufacturing / Machining company in Laurens, SC, TRS Craft Services is looking for a competent Tube Mill Operator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

As a mill operator at Custom Steel Supply, you'll play a vital role in our mission to maintain our status as a leading steel supplier. You'll be responsible for operating equipment, ensuring the safety and efficiency of mill operations, and upholding our core values of safety, integrity, teamwork, growth, and results.

• Utilize precision tools and equipment to inspect and process steel products.
• Interpret specifications and customer requirements accurately.
• Perform setup, maintenance, and operation of mill equipment.
• Monitor and adjust mill controls to maintain product quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and timely production.
• Adhere to safety protocols, quality standards, and housekeeping practices.
• Communicate effectively with management and peers to address any issues or concerns.
• Maintain regular attendance and work collaboratively with colleagues.

Utilize computerized systems for documentation and reporting purposes

• Follow company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in English language.
• Ability to meet safety and quality standards.
• Physical capability to perform job duties, including standing, walking, lifting, and bending.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
