Polymer Plant is seeking an Senior Account Manager to join our PET Resin Business team. We are looking for a highly motivated professional with demonstrated capabilities. A successful individual in this role must have strong sales, marketing and negotiation skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment. Title would be determined by experience.
The Sr. Account Manager is responsible for ensuring business growth and profitability while nurturing customer relationships.
Responsibilities/Job Requirements:
• Develop and execute commercialization strategies to secure sustainable, profitable specialty polymers business
• Identify and justify new sustainable, value-add business ventures where warranted
• Manager existing customer relationships pursuing opportunities to increase value for the customer and Auriga
• Lead strategies to efficiently and effectively promote, market and execute new business development ventures
• Guide market analysis priorities in order to achieve new business goals and extract maximum long term value
• Ensure all activities are conducted in full compliance with laws and regulations and company policies
• Support the vetting of product marketing claims used in marketing materials
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Good written and verbal communications
• Successful negotiation skills
• Self-driven and ability to deliver results with limited supervision
Education Requirements: Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Engineering, Chemistry or related discipline
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 10 years experience in developing, marketing and commercializing new products required; polymer related products preferred
• At least 5 years of experience in market analysis with in-depth understanding of business fundamentals and strategies
• A strong working knowledge of PowerPoint – presentation creation, Excel and other Microsoft software tools is essential
• Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills is required
• Knowledge of medical markets, nonwovens markets, biaxial film marketing, specialty sheets marketing preferred
• Willingness and ability to travel as required (50%)
• Self-driven and ability to deliver results with limited supervision
