Welder Position
Schedule: Mon–Fri, 5:00 AM–1:30 PM overtime/weekends as needed.
PPE required: safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, fire-retardant clothing, welding hood. Responsibilities:
Set up and operate manual MIG/TIG, automatic MIG, brazing equipment, and acetylene torch.
Perform welding, brazing, plasma cutting, sandblasting, and related tasks.
Conduct setups, inspections, and documentation per specifications and blueprints.
Maintain safety standards and report unsafe conditions.
Use ERP systems for work orders, inventory, and production reporting.
Participate in continuous improvement and Lean initiatives.
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of welding experience.
Ability to work independently and meet quality/productivity standards.
Proficient in reading schematics, BOMs, and using measuring tools.
Basic math skills and English proficiency.
Positive attitude and commitment to improvement.
Preferred: Experience with Oracle ERP.
Vision acuity certification.
Welding test acceptance for applicable methods and materials.
Physical Demands:
Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting (up to 40 lbs), and manual handling.
Exposure to noise, heat, dust, and machinery in a climate-controlled warehouse.
