This position is on first shift which is Monday - Thursday 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM with overtime available on Fridays!
PAY: $18/hr - 37500/yr
OT Available on Friday
Full Job Description
Primary task will be deburring machined parts and ensuring they are cleaned and prepared for the remaining machining, welding, or assembly processes.
SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
Member of the manufacturing team providing technical expertise to prepare, clean, and test various production units and perform custodial/maintenance duties with minimal supervision.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receive and understand specific daily job assignments, work priorities and work instruction
Utilize a borescope to inspect manufactured parts internally
Prepare and clean product using various methods including: air, water, sandblasting, deburring, etc.
Receive, check and verify sub-parts needed for job work order(s); fix/resolve discrepancies
Input all build data and accurately voucher time and materials into manufacturing software system
Meet and sustain established quality and production volume performance criteria
Organize, clean and maintain work area, tools, equipment, etc. daily in a safe and secure manner
Establish and maintain effective, positive and professional communication with all co-workers
SPECIFIC DUTIES ASSIGNED:
Assembly - Cleaning and Preparation
Follow specific written and oral instruction for cleaning and prepping of product
Use pressure-regulated air hoses to blow off and blow out product;
Use air pressure-regulated grit media delivery system (sandblast system)
Connect fittings, hoses and flanges to create sealed passages for pressure testing of welds
Safely operate pressure test equipment using water and/or nitrogen gas to test for leaks
Operate and maintain paint gun and related system to apply protective coatings
Record, verify and review results for product requirement conformance
Quality Assurance – Inspection Preparation and Cleaning
Follow specific written and oral instruction for cleaning and prepping of product
Deburr sharp edges and profiles; prepare product for dye penetrant inspection
Polish, identify/engrave and clean product after inspection with water, ultrasonic cleaner, etc.
Clean product after inspection with water
Deburring: 3 years (Preferred)
Manufacturing: 3 years (Required)
