We are seeking a Wind Field Technician for our client on a direct hire basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance. You'll perform inspections, repairs, and upgrades on wind turbines—ensuring peak performance and safety standards are met. Successful candidates must be willing to travel and perform tasks at various project sites throughout the US. Experience with renewable power generation equipment in a service environment is required. Up to $140 daily per diem for projects nationwide.
Job Requirements:
- Maintenance and operation of robotic systems used for cleaning, inspection, and repair of wind turbines
- Performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance on turbines to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards
- Fault diagnosis and resolution of technical issues using advanced diagnostic tools and technology
- Reporting and documentation of work completed, including identifying issues, repairs, and maintenance performed
- Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and industry standards
- Installing and operating robotic equipment
Qualifications:
- Utility-scale renewable energy experience, preferably in wind turbine maintenance
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to travel frequently and work in field conditions
- GWO BST
- GWO ART
- OSHA 10 or 30
- NFPA 70E
- First aid trained
- Drivers License
- Nice to haves:
- GWO BTT
- GWO Sea Survival
