Heavy Equipment Field Mechanic Location: Harrison, OH | Shift: Day | Travel: 60% (including overnights)

TRS Craft Services is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Field Mechanic for a client in Harrison, OH. This role involves inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining heavy equipment such as cranes, hoists, and derricks. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong mechanical skills and a commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair hydraulic and friction cranes, winches, and power units
Perform electrical diagnostics (AC/DC), welding, and hydraulic/pneumatic repairs
Maintain accurate service records and a clean work area
Travel to job sites (60% travel, including overnights)
Adhere to safety and compliance standards
Qualifications
3+ years of heavy equipment repair experience
Strong understanding of equipment manuals, blueprints, and diagnostics
Welding and rigging experience preferred
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Ability to lift, climb, and work in various weather conditions
Must supply personal hand tools
