Warehouse Technician – Evansville, IN (Day Shift)
Our client’s facility in Evansville, IN is seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Technician. This role involves a wide range of warehouse duties including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and general maintenance. Reliability and the ability to work overtime when needed are essential. Receiving/Stocking
Verify and receive products using RF scan guns
Report shortages/damages
Organize and stock items accurately
Load/unload and move products as directed
Picking/Packing
Accurately pull orders using RF scan guns
Meet minimum pick rate of 20 lines/hour
Stage orders for shipment
Report inventory discrepancies
General Duties
Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety
Complete paperwork related to inventory
Crosstrain and support team as needed
Perform daily equipment inspections
Follow all safety and operational procedures
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience
Forklift and stock picker certification required
Proficient with bar code scanners and basic computer systems
Strong math, time management, and multitasking skills
Dependable, self-motivated, and adaptable
Physical Requirements
Frequent lifting (up to 25 lbs regularly, 50 lbs occasionally)
Standing over 90% of the day
Physical tasks include climbing, stooping, pushing/pulling, and repetitive motions
