TRS Craft Services is Hiring in Mooresboro NC- Production Operators $17-$20 DOE.

Must pass background and drug test.

12 hours rotating shift -7 days on and 7 days off.

Job Description

Production Operator

This position is at our Rutherford County, North Carolina location and may work in various areas in the plant. We are seeking several individuals who have experience chemical handling, processing, batch operations, or drumming but can also perform the regular duties associated with being a production operator.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain processing equipment to achieve area objectives according to operating guidelines using SOPs, process monitoring instrumentation, supervisory input, and continuous improvement methods.
  • Collect samples for laboratory analysis to ensure process is achieving desired results.
  • Actively monitor area to identify systems that may not be operating correctly.
  • Complete operational PMs for area to ensure efficient operation of equipment and process.
  • Troubleshoot issues with production equipment and processes.
  • Operate mobile equipment in a safe manner to accomplish area requirements.
  • Focus on housekeeping in order to maintain a safe clean work environment.
  • Comply with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures.
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • One year of experience as a chemical operator or equivalent (batching, mixing, drumming, etc.)
  • Ability to climb ladders and stairs multiple times per shift.
  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and frequently move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to walk for multiple hours during shift.
  • Personal protective equipment is required on a regular basis, including hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toed boots, respirator, protective clothing, and gloves.
  • Competent with safe operation of hand tools, power tools, and equipment.
  • Basic understanding of pumps, conveyors, and pneumatics.
  • Excellent time management, attention to detail, and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Must work well with others and be able to take direction from multiple sources.
  • Ability to understand and convey verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English.
  • Basic math, computer, and mechanical skills.
  • Understanding of chemical processes preferred.
  • Experience with DOT, OSHA, and all related safety regulations preferred.
  • Must maintain a clean and safe work area.

· MUST be able to work outdoors in ALL types of weather.
