Job Title: Bundler Operator

Pay: $22-$25
Hours: 1st shift – 6:00am-2:30pm Monday - Friday

For our Steel Manufacturing / Machining company in Laurens, SC, TRS Craft Services is looking for a Bundler Operator to join our team.

Duties

• Utilize rolling schedules and internal systems to process steel according to specifications.
• Operate bundling equipment and strapping machines to produce bundles of the required size and configuration.
• Generate bar code tags using our systems, ensuring accurate labeling of bundles.
• Conduct quality checks on bundle lengths and gauges, recording findings as necessary.
• Coordinate with other operators to maintain a continuous production flow.
• Perform sampling and maintain supplies for bundling operations.
• Complete operational and quality reports as required.

Skills

• Experience in tube mill manufacturing is preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions, utilize basic computer skills, and perform basic math.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Visual acuity for reading and recording numerical data.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Leadership experience preferred but not required.
• Willingness to relocate, if necessary.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Stamina to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Flexibility to bend, twist, stoop, kneel, and crawl as needed.
• Other physical demands are inherent to the job.
