TRS Craft Services is currently seeking Assemblers for a trusted client in Santa Ana, CA !

ROLE SUMMARY
Under general supervision the Assembly Technician will perform testing /assembly/sub-assembly or prepping of components parts into precision aircraft assemblies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Mask individual parts for sealing or paint operations
• Assemble sub-components using materials / tools furnished
• Cleans and lubricates parts and assemblies
• Marks identifying information on parts
• Perform disassembly and evaluation for overhaul
• Perform testing as instructed by ATP
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, rivets or other fasteners
• Applies torque and/or safety wire on nuts, bolts and screws
• Operates presses or machines to assist in assembly operations
• May operate process line for chemical etching and chemical film coating of sheet metal parts
• Basic knowledge of inspection tools and gauges
• May be required to operate trim lathe and bulge pot operations
• Marks identifying information on parts using various methods such as vibro-peen and laser
marking
• Must be familiar with military specifications
• Must be able to read blueprints and interpret as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED), plus a minimum of 3 years of manufacturing related experience and/or training (aerospace industry preferred
