TRS Craft Greenville has a client in the Williamston/Anderson South Carolina area that has openings for the following:
Machine Operators-1st, 2nd,and 3rd Shift
Pay Range: $11-13.50
Position Summary
This position is responsible for assembling and checking product parts, and ensuring that all machinery runs smoothly, and assisting in the preparation for distribution.
Position Responsibilities- Essential
• Observe continuous operation of automatic machines to ensure that products meet specifications
• Measure and visually inspect product for surface and dimension defects
• Manual documentation of faulty parts
• Inventory and record quantities of materials and finished products, requisitioning additional supplies as necessary
• Unload finished products from conveyor belts, pack them in containers, and place containers in warehouses
• Ensure quality control of materials and finished products
• Entering needed information into the ERP System
• Follow job safety guidelines in the workplace
• Uses safety procedures for production tools (a knife, screwdriver buttons and assembly assistant device etc.)
• Follow detailed work instructions, assembly instructions, and packing instructions
• Report problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to Production Supervisor
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Position Responsibilities- Non-Essential/Other
• Communication skills, team player, attention to detail, organizational and problem solving skills
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Essential Skills and Experience
• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to stand/walk for up to an 8-hour shift or a flexible working time with any overtime
• Good hand to eye coordination
• Drive, motivation, and passion for providing excellent customer service
• Compliance with all company policies and procedures
• Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check
Beneficial Skills and Experience
• Previous assembly/production experience preferred but not required
• Ability to read and comprehend procedures written in English
• Other duties assigned by Supervisor
• Prior Automotive experience preferred but not required
