Inventory & Logistics Specialist (Travel Required)
Schedule
  • Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Extensive travel required
    • Travel up to 3 weeks per month (flights provided)
    • Some months require weekly travel
  • When not traveling:
    • Remote/home-based work including data analysis, scheduling support, and systems training
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Inventory & Logistics Specialist with a strong background in warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics. This role involves frequent travel to multiple storage locations across the U.S. to support inventory audits, shipping/receiving operations, and process improvements.
When not in the field, this individual will support logistics coordination, analyze operational data, and assist with delivery scheduling and system training.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform physical inventory audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation
  • Oversee shipping and receiving operations
  • Ensure proper documentation, QA/QC procedures, and inventory accuracy
  • Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies and operational issues
  • Support logistics and delivery scheduling for site operations
  • Maintain accurate records within WMS/ERP systems
  • Ensure compliance with inventory handling and storage practices
  • Coordinate with internal teams to meet deadlines and operational goals
  • Travel to multiple storage yards and warehouse locations as needed
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in:
    • Warehouse operations
    • Logistics
    • Inventory control
  • Strong working knowledge of:
    • Inventory auditing and cycle counting
    • Shipping and receiving processes
    • Documentation and record-keeping
  • Experience with WMS/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Manhattan, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must be open to frequent U.S. travel
Preferred Qualifications
  • Forklift certification (or prior forklift experience)
  • Familiarity with:
    • Storage yards
    • Standard pallet handling practices
  • Experience in structured, process-driven environments
Additional Requirements
  • Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the United States
