Position: Solar Technician, Commercial Location: Rancho Cucamonga, CA Pay Rate: $25/hr Duration: Contract, 6-week (4/10 schedule. M-Th. M & Th 6 am-2:30 pm, T & W 6 am-4:30 pm)
Summary of the position:
The Commercial Solar Technician position requires a qualified electrical technician with relevant experience supporting PV projects on a commercial scale. This is a 6-week duration contract role with potential for projects to follow. 4.5 MW rooftop solar install of inverter connections.
Requirements / Must have:
Qualified Electrical Technician
PV experience at commercial scale
Experience with DC inverter connections
Proficient in bending conduit.
Proficient in wire bending.
General electrician code knowledge
Valid driver’s license
First Aid trained, CPR.
OSHA 10
PPE and fall protection gear.
Job Duties:
Optimized DC wire management for commercial solar systems
Inverter connections
Wire bending and pulling.
Conduit pending
Follow all safety requirements.
