Job Title: Production Manager Location: Fountain Inn, SC Industry: Injection Molding Pay: $80K - $90K salary (Depends on Experience)
Job Description and Responsibilities • Establishes and manages Production and Assembly departments • Interfaces with the Quality, Maintenance, and Tooling Department to ensure the production of a quality product • Ensures production is cost-effective. • Coordinates, sets up, and implements standard operating procedures for all production operations • Assures products are produced on time and meet customer requirements • Determines human and material resources needed • Tracks competencies of subordinates and provides leadership and development as required to achieve the objectives • Ensures implementation and evolution of safety procedures • Monitors the production processes and adjusts schedules as needed • Implements and drives continuous improvement activities through implementation of the change management process and best practices • Optimizes resource utilization by the implementation of an effective production organization • Works with the entire WIFO management team to implement the company’s policies and goals • Ensures coaching and development of resources to meet business’s objectives • Reviews performance of subordinates • Participates in the Quality Management System • Ensures the integration of project start-ups into production • Ensures reports are developed and provided to relevant personnel
Requirements • Advanced computer skills • Knowledge of SAP programs • BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field • Five years in operations and manufacturing processes and management in a manufacturing environment.
