SKILLSET
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Reading drawings, making cut lists
• Responsible for the quality and accuracy of the fabricated items
• Cut, fit, and HOT AIR WELD THERMO PLASTIC material (Polypropylene, PVC, CPVC, PVDF, and HDPE) to fabricate tanks, fume hoods, cabinets, and pans.
• Responsible for the management of personnel, tools, material and production
QUALIFICATIONS
• MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN LEADING A FABRICATION TEAM, PROCESS OR DEPARTMENT.
• EXPERIENCE IN HOT AIR WELDING OF THERMOPLASTICS IS A PLUS (Polypropylene, PVC, CPVC, PVDF, and HDPE).
• Must be able to read, layout, and fabricate from blue prints and schematics.
• Experience in thermoplastic piping systems utilizing butt-fusion and socket fusion of Polypropylene and PVDF and solvent joining of PVC and CPVC a plus
• Working knowledge of all shop tools and equipment i.e. drill press, table saws, band saws, routers, jig saws, etc.
• Possess a positive attitude, professional work ethic and be a team player.
• The ability to communicate and work effectively with managers, field personnel, customers, and employees.
• Department Lead experience preferred

Payrate $ 21.00- $24.00 hr DOE
