Our Client, who specializes in Equipment Services has contract needs for Millwrights on the Fort Worth, TX area for contract needs!

Millwright /Rotating Equipment Mechanic
Pay $28 + DOE
Rotating Equipment Mechanic Experience Preferred
This is a HANDS ON position
Immediate Hire!!

You know the job, a variety of skilled duties involved in the inspection, diagnosis, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair and servicing of various types of rotating equipment and machinery like pumps, gearboxes, valves, turbines, ventilators, centrifuges and engines.

Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and process drawings.
Disassemble equipment, including bearing removal via heat or cooling.
Assemble equipment according to instructions and specifications.
Align and lay out components in order to put them together correctly according to blueprints and technical plans.
Repair rotating equipment such as gearboxes, pumps, hydraulic systems and replace defective components, parts and systems when necessary, using hand and power tools.
Align rotating elements and take required measurements using laser and mechanical alignment tools.

Instruct on corrections and technique
Inspect the progress and final product

Inspects components to verify conformance to specifications, using instruments, such as indicators, gauges, calipers, micrometers, templates and/or masterwork piece.

Rotating equipment mechanics are responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance activities for rotating equipment such as turbines, compressors, engines, and pumps.

Job Duties:
Remove, repair, rebuild and install rotating equipment (pumps, motors, compressors, etc.)
Remove, rebuild, and reinstall process pump (positive displacement, centrifugal, dosing, etc.)
Maintain process compressors and air compressors (reciprocating and centrifugal)
Maintain, install, rebuild and machine parts for a wide variety of rotating equipment and accessories in and to an acceptable operating condition
Able to use vibration data collecting equipment on rotating equipment
Troubleshoot process pumping and compressor systems

Use laser alignment tools and precision measurement instruments (micrometers, calipers, Vernier scales, dial indicators).
Required:
High school diploma or a GED equivalent
At least 2 years of experience in rotating equipment repair
Ability to comprehend blueprints and work specifications
Physical ability to lift at least 50 pounds or more
