Position: Material Handler - Recycle Operator
Work Schedule: Rotating 12-hr shifts and some overtime required
Mon - Fri 8am - 3:30pm
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Recycle Operator is responsible for the operation of the Recycle System. The Recycle operator will be responsible for boxing, deboxing, debagging, screening chip, flake distribution, heat seal aluminized bags, housekeeping, loading – unloading trailers, loading lump/chunk material to export containers, making BOL, run color sorting system, be Forklift and Bobcat trained.
Physical Requirements
Ability to satisfy all the physical requirements and working conditions for this position with or without reasonable accommodations for this position.
- Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance.
- Frequently bending, squatting, and kneeling including standing and walking on hard surfaces concrete, steel, and wood.
- Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 10 lbs., occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. and push/pull 75 lbs.
- Ability to handle packs (60 lbs.) using both hands to lift over waist high.
- Frequently required to work in high temperature conditions.
- Willing and able to work in close quarters.
- Willing and able to wear and use the prescribed personal protective equipment including hot coat & leggings & face shield.
