Maintenance Electrician (Journeyman Preferred) 1093753

We are currently seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our growing team in a life science facility outside of Greensboro, NC.
Pay is $24/hr without journeyman card and $25/hr with a Journeyman card
Duties:
• Utilizes both electrical / electronic maintenance skills and knowledge (MCC's, A/C, D/C motors and drives, schematics\) to service,troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment to maximize mill equipment reliability and availability
• Install and repair electrical equipment and fixtures
• Troubleshoot motor and control systems
• Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems
• Inspect or test machinery or equipment to diagnose electrical malfunctions, using test equipment or software
• Inspect components of industrial equipment for accurate assembly and installation or for defects, such as loose connections or frayed wires
• Study blueprints, schematics, manuals, or other specifications to determine installation procedures\
• Maintain equipment logs that record performance problems, repairs, calibrations, or tests
• Work closely with Millwrights and Operations to troubleshoot and make repairs
• Perform other duties as assigned\.What you need to succeed:
• Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics, and electric code specifications for electric equipment
• Installing, termination wiring, repairing, or replacing electrical wiring, switch boxes, conduit, and electrical equipment
• Testing electrical equipment and parts for continuity, voltage, current and resistance
