TRS Craft Services is hiring a Machinist for Harrison, OH.
Principal Job Duties & Responsibilities • Strong experience operating both CNC and manual mills and lathes • Able to read, interpret, and follow CAD drawings and blueprints • Proficient in CNC programming and G Code. Experience with Haas Intuitive Programming is a plus • Experience with CAMWorks software and tooling paths is desirable • Able to set up tooling, calculate feeds/speeds necessary to meet quality and production standards • Knowledge of raw materials and cutting tool geometry • Knowledge of precision inspection equipment and methods • Strong basic math/shop math skills • Experience with C-axis live tooling and bar feed applications is a plus • Must be capable of monitoring machine performance (i.e., tool wear, cycle time, product quality, etc.) and identify and correct any issues • Ability to perform physical requirements of the job including routinely lifting 50 lbs., while standing for long periods of time • Able to work with minimal supervision • Adhere to and support client's Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies • Effectively develop and apply the Core Skills to the job • Meet expectations on attendance and punctuality • Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications - Related Education, Experience & Skills • A combination of education and directly related experience equal to five (5) years*; some locations may have additional or different qualifications to comply with local requirements • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors • Job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job • Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
