Requirements:  Minimum High School Diploma or GED.  Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, hoists, and basic hand tools is required. Ability to work independently.  Detailed oriented and excellent communicator required. Prior warehouse experience preferred.  Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Job Description:  As an Inventory Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our prefabrication process. Your responsibilities will primarily revolve around operating a horizontal  band saw, preparing raw materials for manufacturing processes, and managing inventory within our ERP system. The ideal candidate should possess a blend of technical skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.

Duties:
  • Safely operate shop and warehouse equipment to include but not limited to Forklifts, pneumatic tools, etc.
  • Operate band saw machinery to accurately cut raw materials according to specifications.
  • Prepare raw materials, including measuring, cutting, and organizing, to facilitate the CNC single part production process.
  • Ensuring warehouse accuracy in the area of responsibility by conducting regular stock counts and reconciliations.
  • Accurate completion of warehouse related documentation
  • Knowledge of basic mathematics
  • Utilize ERP system to record inventory movements, track stock levels, and process transactions.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely delivery of materials to production lines.
  • Identify and report any discrepancies or issues with inventory levels, quality, or processes.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures while operating machinery and handling materials.
  • Assist in optimizing inventory storage and layout within the facility.
  • Participate in training sessions to stay updated on equipment operation, safety guidelines, and ERP system functionalities.
  • Work overtime as required to meet customer delivery dates
  • Other duties may be assigned
