Job Description: As an Inventory Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our prefabrication process. Your responsibilities will primarily revolve around operating a horizontal band saw, preparing raw materials for manufacturing processes, and managing inventory within our ERP system. The ideal candidate should possess a blend of technical skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
Duties:
- Safely operate shop and warehouse equipment to include but not limited to Forklifts, pneumatic tools, etc.
- Operate band saw machinery to accurately cut raw materials according to specifications.
- Prepare raw materials, including measuring, cutting, and organizing, to facilitate the CNC
single part - Ensuring warehouse accuracy in the area of responsibility by conducting regular stock counts and reconciliations.
- Accurate completion of warehouse related documentation
- Knowledge of basic mathematics
- Utilize ERP system to record inventory movements, track stock levels, and process transactions.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely delivery of materials to production lines.
- Identify and report any discrepancies or issues with inventory levels, quality, or processes.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures while operating machinery and handling materials.
- Assist in optimizing inventory storage and layout within the facility.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on equipment operation, safety guidelines, and ERP system functionalities.
- Work overtime as required to meet customer delivery dates
- Other duties may be assigned
