Job Details
Maintenance Techs will be performing inspections, repairs and preventative maintenance to HPP machines along with facility maintenance and upkeep.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
A requirement of 2 yrs experience in Hydraulics, Pneumatics, and Electrical (480/120/24 Volts).
HPP maintenance is helpful but not required.
Welding experience is preferred but not required- will perform spot welding.
Must have flexibility with work schedule and job duties when the location environment changes.
Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
Ability to communicate effectively in English (speak, read, and write).
Ability to balance productivity, quality, and safety.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to prioritize and perform position responsibilities accurately and to deadline.
Working Conditions and Environment:
Within a manufacturing, warehousing, and production type facility. Must be able to withstand cold temperatures of 38 degrees.
Considerable physical activity. This is a very demanding position, requires heavy physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required objects up to 50 pounds. Physical work is a primary part (more than 70%) of the position.
Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.
Work may involve potential exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or very loud noises.
Shifts: Flexibility is required
2nd shift- 2:30pm to 10:30pm
3rd shift- 10:30pm to 6:30am
Pay rate: DOE/ shift diff offered, to be discussed with your recruiter. Length of assignment: 6 months contract to hire
