Plant Concrete Delivery Manager

3 - 5 years Experience working with Concrete

Position Description

The overall responsibilities of a Batch Plant Manager include:
• Direct and manage batching and delivery of concrete
• Adhere to all lockout/tagout and confined space entry processes
• Coordinate concrete delivery and quality with the production team
• Conduct and oversee batch plant and concrete delivery system preventative and routine maintenance
• Order and manage inventory of cement, aggregate, and concrete admixtures
• Perform quality assurance checks of concrete mixers at the direction of the QC Manager
• Maintain batch plant calibrations and records of calibrations as needed
• Coordinate baghouse cleaning and annual emissions testing
• Assure all pre-operation inspections are completed on equipment
• Coordinate daily receiving and shipping of supplies
• Assist with daily batching as needed
• Proficiently use computerized batching systems
• Certified to operate mixer truck and deliver concrete to production as required
• Comply with stormwater pollution prevention plan
• Housekeeping as necessary to maintain work area, tools, and equipment in a clean and orderly manner
