Key Responsibilities
Interpret layouts and dimensions from technical drawings and use manual gauges for precision measurement.
Load, align, and set up CNC machines according to drawing specifications.
Maintain accurate production and quality records.
Operate within a high-performance team environment while adhering to Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) guidelines.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum 1 year of experience in CNC machine setup and operation (grinders, lathes, milling equipment), or completion of a recognized machinist/toolmaker program.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and apply shop math.
Familiarity with machining methods and cutting tools.
Willingness to work any shift and stand for extended periods.
Must pass a company-specific mechanical skills assessment.
Successful completion of a pre-employment physical, drug screen, background check, and ongoing random drug screenings.
Must pass a visual exam (near vision and color perception).
Preferred Skills
Computer literacy for Statistical Process Control (SPC), CMM measuring, and CNC controls.
