TRS Craft Services is looking for a Administrative Assistant for a energy company located in Northwest Houston.
Purpose
Reporting to the Office Manager the Reception/Administrative Assistant is responsible for front desk reception and administrative support to the office, Health and Safety and Human Resources.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:
• General Reception duties including greeting visitors, answering phones, and taking messages from walk-in traffic
• Inform employee(s) of visitor arrival
• Manage delivered mail, including opening, separating, scanning, and emailing AP invoices to Canada.
• Update phone list and other information as required.
• Maintain visitor log
• Maintain reception area, including opening and closing of front office
• Maintain PPE in reception area cabinets
• Conduct HSE orientations for visitors and customers
• Assist other departments with administrative tasks as required.
• Additional administrative tasks as required.
Education, Skills, and Experience
• 1 to 2 years of clerical or administrative experience preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Spanish a plus).
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a variety of employees at different levels.
• Demonstrated experience working in a professional, confidential capacity and commitment to providing exceptional customer service in an environment that values teamwork
• Must be able to follow instructions, be self-motivated and display initiative, and ability to follow through to complete tasks
• Ability to work in a busy, team-oriented environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to multi-task with minimal supervision
• Basic keyboarding and computer abilities including Microsoft Office
• Willingness to learn new task
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and with a team
Duties are subject to change at any time according to the needs of the location or company. Other duties may be assigned, in addition to or in lieu of, those described above.
Pay $15-18 DOE
