Accounts Payable

DIRECT HIRE POSITION!!

Monday-Friday / 8:00am-5:00pm
Salary: $50,000 + Depending on Experience!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Entering vendor invoices, managing accounts payable including certain bank transactions thereof, preparing/ maintaining various spreadsheets for the Accounting/Finance department. Also responsible for the Internal Sales function for Laurens Operation.


Requires flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with all levels of management and staff as well as outside clients, vendors, and customers.


Managerial functions
• Responsible for managing Accounts Payable Process
• Responsible for managing Accounts Receivable Process
• Responsible for Internal Sales Function
• Responsible for managing Fixed Asset Accounting Process


Professional tasks
• Manage Accounts Payable Process: Prepare and enter into SAP accounting system accounts payable invoices to be processed, including the initiation and processing of vendor payment runs. Filing of all accounting documents, scanning documents into d3, prepare and maintain various spreadsheets, assist in daily banking tasks and contact with vendors as needed.
• Manage Internal Sales Process including all SAP updates (such as pricing, invoicing and other related aspects to this position).
• Manage Fixed Asset accounting, including depreciation entries.
• Manage Accounts receivable processing, including customer debit notes processing and all aspects related thereto.
• Seasonal Audit Reporting
• Reconciliation of credit card accounts and petty cash.
• GL Account reconciliations.


Special tasks
• Backup for Purchasing function
• Backup for Sales and Use Tax function


Qualification/professional experience
• High School Diploma and Associate Degree in Accounting.
• 3 + years with increasing responsible accounting support; or an equal combination of training and experience.
• MS Word, MS Ex
