Outside sales, contacting new and existing customers selling parts, and rental needs for generators and engines.


If you know about;
• Selling service repairs, load bank testing and rental generators,
• Diesel fuel maintenance, preventative maintenance, remote monitoring, major parts, and upgrades for generator systems.
• Quoting for labor hours, parts, travel, mileage, components and services
• Complete repair solutions for generator systems.

Have you dealt with Service Managers, Parts Managers, Supervisors and coordinated rental and sales and repairs?

Are you comfortable making presentations to customer groups, trade associations, and working at tradeshows? Presentations will require the use of Microsoft PowerPoint and speaking to large groups.

Accountabilities:

Response to any service inquiry from customers or prospects.
Written quotations for service work, parts sales or rental units.
Create call routes.
Communicate regularly with service, parts, and rental management.
Become a part of customer trade associations and groups to promote the company, products and services.

Previous sales experience preferred.
Basic mechanical knowledge of generators and engines.
Computer skills using Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Email.
Ability to read and interpret detailed written bid specifications.
Ability to call on customers and prospects at all levels of business.
