ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Receives / unloads incoming material, ensure material is properly identified and all required quality checks are performed and documented.

Assist with initial training and re-training of employees for press operation and parts packaging.

Participate as Proxy Operator / Forklift driver as needed.

Perform daily check with Refractometer and document readings.

Responsible for staging and loading coils on feed lines.

Maintain organization of coil area.

Perform cycle counts as required.

Perform duties using proper PPE and follow all safety requirements and policies.

JOB REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

High school education or equivalent with 3 years maintenance or related experience

Excellent, demonstrated mechanical skills.

Demonstrated problem solving skills

Ability to work with little or no supervision

Good math skills; ability to calculate and comprehend necessary math concepts.

Ability to complete required paperwork through basic reading and writing skills

Ability to move up to 50 pounds

Ability to obtain an industrial powered lift truck license

Ability to obtain an overhead crane license

Ability to be trained to operate an aerial work platform (scissor lift)

Computer skills required. Plex manufacturing software experience a PLUS!
