Overview of Responsibilities:

The Quality Floor Tech position is responsible for executing the requirements and various duties to assure quality related functions are executed on production floor. Following specific work instructions, using hand tools and multiple components, build, test, inspect, record, sample, produce charts, graphs, records, report to multiple levels of plant personnel,

Good hand eye coordination, use of hand tools, and fixtures, knowledge of QC reports, lab tools, processes, gage ,


Specific items:
1. Safety
• Wear assigned PPE for specified duties ( Hat, ear plugs, glasses, gloves, )
• adhere to LOTO procedures
• Know emergency procedures, equipment operations and locations
• Maintain 5S
• Use safe practices in material handling
2. Quality
• Know, understand and demonstrate specific quality requirements
• Operate assigned quality checks and equipment
• Perform required quality checks according to instructions maintain SPC logs, metal certifications
• Record required quality documentations as per control plans
3. Documentation
• Maintain daily work log, SPC. Maintenance, load charts, scrap records
• Maintain and assist in product inventory and daily work goals
• Maintain quality of visual products
• Understand and follow specific process sequences and motions
4. Other
• Inform Supervisor of any items that might affect operations
• Report any safety items
• Lift up to 60 lbs
• Physically able to bend, step, climb, lift, rotate, stand for long periods of time
• Work in warm environment
• Work with minimum supervision
• Perform other duties as assigned
