We are hiring for Material Handlers and more for a large Steel Fabrication Manufacturing company in Goose Creek area. Our client specializes in the manufacture of large complex fabrications, such as producing critical construction foundations, DOD projects, the statue of liberty refurbishment, or multiple ground combat vehicle programs. Job Duties:
• 2 years or more of demonstrated experience or a forklift certification
• Performs warehouse receiving, put away and picking operations to deliver the required material at the right
time, to support production and sustainment operations
• Optimizes presentation of materials to the shop floor according to pick tickets generated from SAP or
similar programs
• Perform required cycle counts of material and help maintain inventory accuracy
• Delivers material to shop areas
• Must maintain clean work environment and required cleanup at end of shift

Basic Qualifications:
• Ideal candidate must have the ability to work independently, must be a self-starter, must be able to
communicate effectively with peers, customers and management
• Knowledge and ability to perform multiple skill requirements with little to no supervision. 6 years or more
of demonstrated experience with a forklift certification
• Experience visually locating warehouse put away/pick locations
• Experience reading pick tickets and distinguishing location, quantity required and part number
• Experience picking parts according to quantities listed on pick tickets
• Experience with cycle counting and inventory accuracy
