We are currently hiring Freight Handlers for various locations in the North Charleston and Summerville areas. Please read the job description below and apply with an updated resume for consideration!
Position Summary
Maintain a safe and clean work area while supporting the warehouse in the processing of orders to
ensure customers receive product in a timely and efficient manner.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Offload, accurately sort and palletize inbound freight ensuring proper identification of product
sku’s
Load outbound product and ensure accuracy of carrier
Place and stack product on pallets with appropriate shipping label and relabel as required
Perform daily housekeeping tasks including, but not limited to, sweeping aisles, assisting with
recycling efforts, stocking of inventory and supplies
Conduct cycle counts of inventory or research parts as directed
Other Duties and Requirements
Cross train and provide training of known processes to help support growth of self and the
business
Report issues as they arise to the Supervisor
Efficiently carry out all work direction of the Supervisors and Managers
Work in accord with all safety regulations of the warehouse. Wear and utilize proper safety
clothing and materials. Report any safety hazards, accidents or near misses to the Safety
Manager.
Must be able and willing to work extended hours as needed to meet department and
company needs, including weekends and holidays
Complete special projects or other duties as assigned
Coordinate work with other employees
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
High school diploma (or GED) required
Skills and attributes to include initiative, problem solving and multi-tasking
Possess time management skills and meet targeted goals
Self-motivated and able to work with minimal direction

Must be able to work independently as well as team player
Ability to efficiently coordinate workings with internal and external workers of the company
Ability to use and operate warehouse machinery and equipment
Ability to work in a team environment
Must be available to work Sunday through Saturday as needed
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to
successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to
enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. While performing the duties of
this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee frequently is required to walk; use
hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Twisting, kneeling and squatting are
required. The employee is required to sit and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or
move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 150 pounds utilizing a team-lift.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include acute close and distance vision.
Work Conditions
This position works in a warehouse setting, with outdoor exposure during the workday. This role
routinely uses standard warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, box cutters and tape dispensers.
